The Chuck Wagon will be available for meals from dinner Friday to breakfast Sunday.
FREE WIFI PROVIDED BY ASTROGIZMOS
Food Vendor for Friday and Saturday night dinners, Saturday lunch, and Sunday morning breakfast. The club will provide coffee and donuts for Saturday morning.

Overview below of 2013 Summer Mason Dixon Star Party

Located on a private grass strip airport near Wellsville, Pennsylvania at 380 Kralltown Road, The MDSP horizon is extremely flat, stars are visible at less than 10 degrees above the horizon and light pollution seems to be at a minimum. The Milky Way is easily visible. Observing can be made from the grass airport taxiway. The airport is closed for MDSP Star Party. Hope to see you at the MDSP! Arrival
Sign in at the registration tent upon arrival. Here you will pick up your raffle tickets and information packets.
Large RV entry may be made at top of hill of Kralltown road. See Map Legend for large RV entry point.
Lasers
We will not be allowing the use of green lasers at this Star Party. We apologize for the inconvenience, but due to public safety, liability, and astrophotography concerns, we will not permit the use of green laser pointers. Also, all lights must be red filtered. (We are not the only star party to do this).
Event Site
There is no electric or water on the camping field. There is running water at the Bunkhouse near the runway, as well as hot showers and men's and women's flush toilets at both Bunkhouse and at Pavilion at pool (only usable if you pay the pool fee) . We will be providing Jiffy Johns placed along the taxiway. The taxiway is 2600 feet long. Participants will set up their camps along either side of the taxiway, and there will be a wide path between the camps for safe walking at night. Please remember Night Entry Not Allowed.
Recharging Power Station
For charging, there will be at least 16 exterior receptacles on the concrete pad near the bunkhouse.
Generators
Notice: If using Generators, use farther west end of taxiway. Ask at Registration check in on where parking for use of generators is. Generators are for daytime use ONLY. Hours are 10am to 6pm. No night time use, no exceptions.
Camping
Camping fees include the following: the use of public showers and restroom facilities at the Bunkhouse, volley ball and horseshoes (equipment provided by owner), and trash removal. We will provide trash bags to all attendees, as well as 55-gallon bags for the trash drums (he has 4 drums). The owner will collect the trash, however, we will ask all participants to take trash to either the dumpster or a central location. We will be collecting the camping fees for the site owner upon your arrival. YCAS does not keep the camping fees. We collect them on behalf of the event site owner.
Camping is permitted on the grass taxiway on the south side of the runway. The airport will be closed for the MDSP event. We are allowed to use the grass runway for ballgames or other activities, including observing, but not camping. You may set up your telescope, and park, at your campsite.
Pool
Pool is $5 all day per person. Life Guard On Duty.
Food

Raffle Tickets
Each Star Party registered adult is given 2 free raffle tickets for the raffle.
Extra raffle tickets can be bought at the event for $2 each, 12 for $20.
